The Hot Place has finished their album, "The Language of Birds" recorded at Southern Tracks Recording in Atlanta. 

A special Valentine's Day single double release of "Saturn Moved" featuring Richard Lloyd, an original founding member of the early seventies NYC based band Television  as a guest guitarist, and "Triad" written by David Crosby, will be available Feb. 14th on Bandcamp. Their first single "Petals of Ruin" was released on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31st and is available for a free listen/download.

Jeff Calder continues to guide the project as both Producer and musician, contributing his talent on several  tracks.  Swimming Pool Q's alumnus Robert Schmid is playing drums in the band. Mike Lynn, formerly of Betty's Not A Vitamin and Unminded, will be playing guitar on the album. Lisa King continues to write new material, sing, and play bass, guitar, keyboards, and several other instruments on the recording.


A full-length album release is to be expected in 2012.
