The Hot Place will be releasing a new single, 20th Century, very soon.  In addition to the official release, there will be a small amount of limited edition hand silkscreened packages available, signed by the artist. 

The band is currently in the studio recording songs for their upcoming album release.  Jeff Calder continues to guide the project as both producer and musician,  contributing his talent on several  tracks.  Swimming Pool Q's alumnus drummer Robert Schmid is playing drums in the band.  Mike Lynn will be playing guitar on the album, and is the Executive Producer for the project. Lisa King continues to write new material, sing, and play several of the instruments on the recording.

A full-length album release is to be expected in 2009.
