Journal of Step by Step: Jeff Calder Cosmic Antenna Les Paul (83)
This design was originally drawn with pen and ink on Egyptian papyrus as a gift from Lisa King to Jeff Calder. Soon, official plans for this guitar were drawn February 2, 2002 in Prismacolor pencil (Original drawing was of a Gibson SG, but it became a Les Paul in the end.) This photo gallery tracks the 1 year progress starting in 2005, hand painting a custom psychedellic Les Paul for the Swimming Pool Q's singer. The painting portion was completed on August 3rd, 2006. I will post updates and step by step photos as the guitar nears completion, which includes clear coating and adding of hardware.
